Bang Tango and guitarist Scott LaFlamme have separated after a five year partnership.

“The members of Bang Tango enjoyed their five year run with Scott and wish him the best of luck and success in the future,” said the band. “After a much needed break Bang Tango is reenergized and excited about returning to the stage.
Big news to follow in the coming months with the announcement of a new guitar player and touring plans. See you all on board the Monsters of Rock Cruise in April 2015.”

LaFlamme appeared on Bang Tango’s 2011 release ‘Pistol Whipped In The Bible Belt’. Frontman Joe LeSte and Bang Tango were looking for a studio to record the follow-up to ‘Pistol Whipped In The Bible Belt’ back in 2012, but no word on when a new studio album will surface.

Meanwhile, ‘Attack Of Life: The Bang Tango Movie’ is finally nearing completion and is slated to be released this summer. “Its been a ridiculously long two and a half years working on this thing but I’m proud to say its just about finished and ready to show,” director Drew Fortier tells Sleaze Roxx. “With all the other band documentaries coming out, this one is gonna stick out like a sore thumb in all the best ways.”

‘Attack Of Life: The Bang Tango Movie’ features interviews with all original members — Joe LeSte, Mark Knight, Kyle Kyle, Tigg Ketler and Kyle Stevens — current members, and key players who performed with Bang Tango. The film also features appearances by Chip Z’Nuff, former Headbanger’s Ball host Riki Rachtman and producer Howard Benson.
