Quiet Riot Ready To Release First Album With Jizzy Pearl

Quiet Riot are set to release ’10’ — their twelfth studio album and first since 2006 — on June 27th through RSM Records. The ten track disc will contain six completely new songs with latest frontman Jizzy Pearl and four tracks from the last professionally recorded live shows with original singer Kevin DuBrow, who passed away in 2007.

Joining former Love/Hate frontman Jizzy Pearl in the current line-up of Quiet Riot is long time drummer Frankie Banali, guitarist Alex Grossi, and bassist Chuck Wright. The Banali produced follow-up to 2006’s ‘Rehab’ also features appearances by former band members Rudy Sarzo and Tony Franklin.

“We’ve all known Jizzy for many years and toured together but in separate bands,” Banali told the Cleveland Scene earlier this year. “Kevin was quite fond of Jizzy and thought he was a good singer and very intelligent. Jizzy made sense because he has the range and timbre to handle the Quiet Riot material while still bringing his own sound and style to Quiet Riot which I welcome with open arms. He’s also a pro which makes it easy to work with, he knows the drill of being in and working in a band.”
