Official video for the opening track of the album “Method To The Madness”. Released in 1992, it was the final studio album from Canadian rockers Killer Dwarfs. On this album, the band continued their Ratt meets Quiet Riot Hair Metal style, with a bit more emphasis on power ballads and melodies, perhaps in hopes of capitalizing on the Steelheart/Firehouse/Slaughter power ballad trend going on at the time. The result is a slightly more commercial Killer Dwarfs album.
Unfortunately for the band, there was another musical trend waiting in the wings. “Method To The Madness” was released just as a sea of flannel clad grunge bands was taking over radio and MTV, all but eliminating Hair Metal. It’s not all that surprising that Killer Dwarfs would call it a day soon after the album’s release.
This is video was shot during BulletBoys tour for the first record. I wish the quality was better! It features all original members: Mick Sweda, Jimmy D’ Anda, Marq Torien and Lonnie Vencent.

The album went gold in the band’s native Canada, but only managed a disappointing #179 on the Billboard 200 in the United States. The band would lose their U.S. deal with Capitol Records soon after.
