Australian Hair Metal band formed in Sydney in 1982 under the name As The Young Lions. A few line-up changes and two name changes (initially called “The Young Lions”) until 1986. “Black Leather” is the second single from their 1988 deput album which made it to the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at 98th position. Kings Of The Sun toured the United States and Europe and then returned to Australia in 1988 to open for Guns N’ Roses.
