Vince Neil tears a calf muscle in Atlanta, but Crüe "Carnival of Sins" tour won't miss a beat

ATLANTA, GA - Mötley Crüe won't let a little muscle tear get in the way of its rock & roll juggernaut.

Despite an erroneous wire service report that he broke his leg, the band's lead singer Vince Neil partially tore the medial portion of his calf muscle last night five songs into Crüe's performance at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta, GA. The show was part of the band's ongoing, successful "Carnival of Sins" world tour that began last February.

Vince's leg gave out shortly before intermission, and the band was forced to end the concert early after Neil was taken to a nearby hospital. Although he was in a great deal of pain at the time, Neil is expected to make a full and quick recovery, according to his doctors, who nevertheless urged him to take some time off. The band intends to return to Atlanta to make-up the show. Tickets from last night's show will be honored at that time. Ticket holders should contact their point of purchase for more information or refunds.

"I just felt something snap in my leg," recalls Neil. "I just couldn't go on.”

Nevertheless, Neil is planning to return to the stage Sunday night (9/18) in Memphis, TN, for Mötley Crüe's show at Desota Arena, despite doctor's orders. No shows will be canceled. "I'm a trooper," said Neil.

Said the band's Nikki Sixx: "He will be able to perform, but can't really jump around until it heals. Luckily, we have a few days off here and there for him to recover."

The Mötley Crüe tour has been the unexpected success story of the live concert year. After
six years apart, the band reunited earlier this year for a tour that has been one of the biggest box office attractions of 2005.

Following the end of their own U.S. tour in October, the Crue will join the Rolling Stones for shows in Portland and Seattle, then Mötley Crüe will go on to Australia and Japan.

After their appearance on last weekend's MTV/VH1/CMT "ReAct Now" benefit from Nashville, Mötley Crüe will release a new recording of their hit, "Home Sweet Home," which they performed on the show with Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, a gospel choir and string section, produced by Desmond Child. Proceeds from the song will go to benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina and the efforts to rebuild the affected communities through Red Cross.

Frontiers Records is pleased to announce the details of the European release of The Mob's self titled debut album on November 7th 2005.

The Mob is the new band featuring Doug Pinnick (King's X) on bass guitar and vocals; Reb Beach (Whitesnake, ex-Winger/Dokken) on guitar and vocals; Kelly Keagy (Night Ranger) on drums and vocals and Timothy Drury (Whitesnake, ex-Eagles) on keyboards and vocals.

Think the classic sound of Winger and Dokken - metal with huge riffs, mindblowing solos, huge choruses and manly vocals! Produced by none other than Kip Winger, this is shaping up to be one of the most incredible releases of the year!

The final tracklisting of the album shall include the following tracks: One Track Mind; Wait ; The Magic ; I Will Follow; Guitar Solo; Never Get Enough; Love Will Carry On; Turn To Stone; No Reason Why; Spaghetti Western; I Want To Live Forever.

All samples can be also listened on the multimedia audio page on http://www.frontiers.it

Reb Beach says "The Mob are going to shake the world with a vengeance, as they hone this new band into the perfect Hard Rock band for the twenty first century..." and you can be sure he's right!
Release in Japan will be handled by King Records with plans for release in the USA to be finalized shortly.

Warrant has currently finished their 6th CD Born Again.

"Things have changed so much in the business the past few years," explains bassist Jerry Dixon, "that we decided to do what a lot of bands do now and record the album first and then go deal shopping, although we've already had some interest from labels just based on hearing some of the unfinished music." The album is being produced by veteran Pat Regan (Kiss, Ted Nugent, Ritchie Blackmore, etc.)

The band, which has been touring pretty constantly for the past couple of years, is made up of all original members - Dixon on bass, guitarists Erik Turner and Joey Allen and drummer Steven Sweet, along with vocalist Jaime St. James (of Black 'N Blue fame) who has been the singer since the departure of original vocalist Jani Lane in 2003 "Jaime brings a fresh, new energy to the band and the songwriting," explains Turner, "and that energy shines live and on the new CD."

The band, whose career featured hit albums spawning a lengthy string of hit singles in the '80's and '90's consider themselves able to stretch into two categories now. "We're not really ready to be considered solely classic rock," insists St. James, "because the stuff we're creating now has a very modern feel to it that fits the rock and pop genres that are popular today. But when it comes to touring, there are a lot of fans at our shows who want to hear the old stuff. We actually find that an enviable position to be in - being able to appeal to old and new fans at the same time."

JIZZY PEARL WORKING ON "SECRET PROJECT":

Current Ratt vocalist, Jizzy Pearl, recently called into The Hairball John Radio Show to discuss his latest solo effort Vegas Must Die. Pearl also shared his views regarding a Love/Hate reunion, his short-lived time fronting Adlers Appetite, the possibility of recording new material with Ratt, and his excitement about a “secret” project.

Jizzy Pearl: “I have a project that I am working on that I wish I could talk about and hopefully in the next month or two I will be able to tell people about it. I am very excited about it and it will definitely be a huge, exciting change for me creatively for me as I will be able to explore other avenues. It's non-music related and is more of a thing that has to do with my books. I wish I could tell you more but the problem is that I can't honestly talk about it until it is for sure because I've eaten crow so many times in my life that I am really careful and don't want to stick my foot in my mouth. So hopefully soon I will be able to tell people.”

Hairball John: “Jizzy, I really enjoy your writing style and have tried on numerous occasions to go back and obtain your books, but have failed. Are those going to be available again anytime soon?”

Jizzy Pearl: “They're not right now, but if this thing happens that I am talking about, that could change in the near future."
