Mötley Crüe - Like A Virgin

Mötley Crüe – Like A Virgin

Here is Motley Crue’s version of the 1980s dance hit “Like A Virgin”. It is included in the album The Dirt Soundtrack, released on March, 22nd 2019 the same day with the release of the movie The Dirt on Netflix

“Like A Virgin” originally recorded in 1984 by American singer Madonna for her second studio album Like a Virgin. It was released on October 31, 1984, by Sire Records as the album’s lead single.

According to Wikipedia:

“Like a Virgin” has been covered by a number of artists and has appeared in or been referenced in feature films such as Reservoir Dogs, Moulin Rouge! and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. Family groups sought to ban it as they believed the song promoted sex without marriage. On the other hand, Madonna‘s public persona of an indomitable, sexually unashamed, supremely confident woman was widely accepted by the younger generation who emulated her style and fashion. Scholars have credited “Like a Virgin” as the song which cemented her position as a pop culture icon.”

Whitesnake - Shut Up & Kiss Me

Whitesnake – Shut Up & Kiss Me

Fresh off celebrating their 40th anniversary, rock legends Whitesnake return with their latest studio album, “Flesh & Blood”. This album follows the 2011 critically acclaimed studio album “Forevermore” and 2015’s “The Purple Album”, a reimagining of Deep Purple classics from Whitesnake mastermind’s David Coverdale’s time in that band. The 13 original, visceral tracks on “Flesh & Blood”, the band’s 13th studio album, are, luckily for you dear reader, “all killer, no filler”, as the saying goes.

But would you expect anything less from the ’Snakes?

David Coverdale, the mastermind behind Whitesnake & co-composer of ‘Shut Up & Kiss Me’ with guitarist Reb Beach, commenting on the forthcoming release said “that after the intense darkness of our last video BURN If anything, it’s ‘light’ snake, you know? We’ve got some really dark energy going on in the world right now, so we’re gonna write & record a fun, knees up, song about falling in love with a fabulous babe. You’re over-talking, over-compensating & she just looks at you, takes the reins & says, ‘Shut Up and Kiss Me!’ and that’s it!! My video director and creative partner Tyler Bourns and I discussed a great storyline for the video, which involves a surprise guest: my fabulous old white Jaguar. We ended up cleaning and detailing it, as it has been in storage since I moved to Lake Tahoe, then we dusted off my old turquoise silk jacket from the original ‘Here I Go Again’ video and I was thinking, “man, this is going to be fun!” It’s a respectful acknowledgment and positive nod to the past, just fun stuff.”

Joining Coverdale on Flesh & Blood is the powerhouse band comprised of Reb Beach and Joel Hoekstra on guitar, Michael Devin on bass, Tommy Aldridge on drums, and Michele Luppi on keyboards.

The current incarnation of the band carries on the long and unwavering tradition of main man David Coverdale being surrounded by cream of the crop players who go all in to bring fans the best hard rock humanly possible. 40+ years into their existence, the ‘Snakes fangs have only grown sharper and are ready to inject fans with more of that rock ‘n roll venom they crave.

Hardline - Take A Chance

Hardline – Take A Chance

Brand new track from veterans Hardline out of the album “Life” released on April 26, 2019 on CD, LP and Digital.

In the past two years, Hardline has performed a number of shows across Europe, including festivals and more intimate gigs, and that live “energy” can certainly be felt on their new studio album. The band went back to 1992’s “Double Eclipse” album for influence for the songs on this record, but additionally they also looked a little closer in the rearview at the tremendous predecessor to this album, “Human Nature”. The resulting album, LIFE, perfectly blends the influences of those two albums and sees Hardline heavier, stronger, bigger, and better than ever. The band entered the studio feeling loose and relaxed from all their gigging. The two newest members, Marco Di Salvia on drums and Mario Percudani on guitar, had gelled seamlessly with the rest of the band from all those shows and combined with Anna Portalupi’s pulsating rhythms and Alessandro Del Vecchio’s songwriting and production abilities, LIFE was almost effortless for the band to create. And of course, Johnny Gioeli sings like only he can over top of these incredible musicians.

Tora Tora - Silence The Sirens

Tora Tora – Silence The Sirens

Tora Tora have released the track “Silence The Sirens” from their studio album Bastards of Beale, released via Frontiers Music Srl on February 22, 2019.

The group consists of all four original members: lead vocalist Anthony Corder, guitarist Keith Douglas, bassist Patrick Francis and drummer John Patterson.

Tora Tora were approached by Frontiers Music Srl about recording a proper new studio album and they enthusiastically jumped at the opportunity. The resulting new album, Bastards Of Beale, brings back the magic of the band s blues-rooted hard rock sound that gained them a loyal following upon their debut in the late 80s. Always a far cry from their more polished mainstream peers and more spiritually connected to blue collar hard rock, the band s return picks up where they left off, while not sounding even the slightest bit dated.
